Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver?

Yes – we are happy to deliver to nearby towns and certain venues free of charge. Delivery to other towns and venues further afield can be arranged for an additional fee. We recommend that all wedding cakes are delivered and set up by Immaculate Confections. Novelty cakes can be collected from us in Stanstead Abbotts.

What deposit do you require?

We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of placing the order. Orders are not final until the deposit has been paid. The balance is due four weeks prior to collection/delivery. The cake will not be handed over to you until it is paid for in full. Payments can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash.

What happens if I cancel my order?

Deposits are generally non-refundable.  If an order is cancelled more than four weeks ahead of the delivery date we will try to refund your money. However, with certain designs work will have already begun on your cake and so the amount refunded will take our costs at that point into consideration.

I have an allergy. Can you make me a cake without wheat/nuts/eggs etc?

We will do our best to cater for your dietary requirements, however our kitchen is NOT a nut-free/egg-free/gluten-free environment. Even if your order does not contain nuts or other allergens, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination among my products. Immaculate Confections will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed. Clients are responsible for notifying me of any other dietary restrictions prior to placing an order.
